Job Purpose

This role within the non-trade Procurement organization supports the delivery of procurement savings projects across areas of spend such as IT, Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, and Logistics. The role works with senior stakeholders in these organizations to develop annual sourcing plans, conduct strategic sourcing events, set up ongoing supplier management programs, and deliver hard dollar savings that impact the department’s P&L.; The role also directs and coaches Analysts on the team, requiring complex stakeholder and supplier relationship management and expertise in relevant sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

- Develop annual sourcing/category plans with key business stakeholders.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers in assigned categories of spend to deliver P&L; savings of $3MM-$5MM.
- Work with stakeholders to create and manage RFP projects to select strategic suppliers.
- Prepare Statements of Work and negotiate contracts.
- Represent TD SYNNEX in quarterly business reviews with suppliers and manage ongoing supplier relationships.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in IT, Finance, Logistics, or Marketing categories.
- Experience working with all levels of management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Master’s/Post Graduate degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
