About the Role

This position supports Bacardi’s Integral Procurement and Supply Chain Strategy through end‑to‑end material planning. The role manages medium and long‑term requirements for material supply, drives material strategy, optimises working capital, and builds strong supplier relationships in collaboration with global and regional procurement teams.

Responsibilities

- Material Availability & Plan Enablement
- Responsible for mid‑ and long‑term planning of material availability in line with the Master Production Plan.
- Support and manage innovations and projects from a material supply perspective.
- Make data‑driven decisions to maximise material availability.
- Own and follow up on planning issues arising from material supply, especially those affecting production.
- Collaborate closely with supply centre material call‑of teams to ensure accurate and timely call‑offs versus requirements.
- Act as the key planning representative for NPD projects involving BOM changes within assigned categories.
- Serve as custodian of Bill of Materials (BOM) master data to ensure effective and accurate management of products.
- Ensure on‑time invoice payments in partnership with the BES team, resolving issues as needed.

- Supplier Collaboration

- Serve as key contact for material suppliers, managing deliveries, sharing mid‑long‑term forecasts, and monitoring performance.
- Analyze market demand fluctuations and share insights with suppliers to mitigate supply risks and overstock/write‑off risks.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to establish long‑term agreements, set lead times, and manage minimum order quantities (MOQ’s).
- Attend and participate in supplier review meetings monthly and quarterly, providing information on supply and supplier performance.




- Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements with suppliers, partnering with them to meet required performance targets.

- Supply Chain Optimisation

- Proactively identify improved ways of working within material planning, applying a continuous‑improvement mindset.
- Optimise material strategy and working capital to meet business needs, minimise excess and no‑mover stock, and prevent write‑offs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (procurement, Supply Centre, SQS) to optimise supplier strategies and deliver Bacardi’s sourcing strategy pillars of Sustainability, Value Chain, Partnership, and Superior Availability.

Qualifications

- Experience with end‑to‑end planning in an FMCG environment.
- Strong proactive communication skills, able to deliver concise and clear messaging to influence decisions.
- Self‑starter with a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer‑service orientation under the mantra "Consumer at the Heart" with a passion for results.
- Quick to identify trends, interpret data, and draw actionable insights.
- Sound operational, commercial, and financial awareness, understanding the business implications of data.
- Technical proficiency and strong analytical competence: expert Microsoft Excel, SAP ECC; PowerBI is a plus.
