We are looking to hire a Corporate EHS Specialist (m/f/d) at Befesa Medio Ambiente S.L.U in Madrid to join our team and help drive the circular economy globally.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate safety improvement programs and training initiatives across multiple sites.
- Monitor progress on action plans and EHS initiatives, ensuring structured and systematic follow‑up.
- Support and help drive safety improvement projects at plant level.
- Participate in corporate EHS audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for corporate leadership.
- Provide ad hoc support for safety‑related projects and requests.

Qualifications

- Degree or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (engineering background preferred).




- 2 to 5 years’ EHS experience, ideally in multisite manufacturing or metals industries.
- Experience in multicultural teams and international environments.
- English & Spanish fluent; German and French are a plus.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented, and comfortable with frequent travel (approx. 30–40%).
