Application Support Engineer II

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer II with a developer's mindset and a passion for AI‑driven efficiency. Based in our Valencia hub, you will serve as a technical bridge between internal operations and core Engineering squads.

Responsibilities

- Deep‑Dive Troubleshooting: Triage and resolve Tier‑2 internal application bugs by analyzing code behavior, system logs, and data flows.
- Bridge to Core Engineering: Work hand‑in‑hand with backend/frontend squads, isolate Tier‑3 bugs, assist in database structural changes, and deploy toolsets that keep our general platform stable.
- AI & Automation: Leverage AI‑driven tools such as AI coding assistants and LLMs to automate workflows, build scripts, and optimize the support infrastructure.
- Architect Documentation: Translate complex system behaviors into clear technical documentation for Tier‑1 teams and internal alignment.

Qualifications

- 1 to 5 years of experience in software development, technical application support, or a strong programming foundation (junior developer profiles are welcome).
- The Developer Mindset: Ability to read code, understand logic, and navigate databases.




- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Java, React, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or RabbitMQ (or a strong passion to learn them).
- AI Curiosity: Actively experiment with AI tools, prompts, or automation scripts to increase efficiency.
- Fluent in English and able to collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide.
- Bonus: Prior experience in FinTech, payments industry, or handling database structural changes.
