Job Description

In the role, you will be expected to:

- Complete Electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes.
- Make major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff.
- Plan design work, calculate costs, and time schedules to assign design duties to junior staff working on projects.
- Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files.
- Act as an adviser and review correspondence prepared by junior project team members.
- Attend project meetings, or when appropriate, delegate activities.
- Meet with clients, prepare proposals and presentations while maintaining good client relations.




- Assist in project checking for quality control on other projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or industrial engineering with Electrical Emphasis Engineering from an accredited program.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Team management/coordination experience.
- Good knowledge in international regulations and standards (NFPA, BS, IEC, etc.).
- Proficiency in engineering calculation software for electrical discipline (CANECO, ETAP, etc.).
