The opportunity
Join our organization as a Payroll & Benefits Partner for Iberia, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless payroll and benefits administration across Spain and Portugal. As an individual contributor supporting approximately 230 employees, you'll manage outsourced payroll relationships whilst ensuring compliance across collective bargaining agreements and delivering excellence in both markets
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Process payroll in a timely, accurate and confidential manner ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for Spain and Portugal (approximately 230 employees)
- Manage payroll outsourcing relationships and vendor oversight, ensuring service delivery standards are met across both markets
- Coordinate benefits administration programs and oversee employee benefits delivery across Spain and Portugal
- Handle compliance requirements for different collective bargaining agreements, ensuring proper application across employee groups
- Ensure compliance with Spanish and Portuguese laws, agreements and regulations, serving as contact person for social security agencies and tax offices
- Track and report payroll and benefits activities while maintaining all records in accordance with statutory requirements

- Proven experience in payroll and benefits administration with strong knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese labour laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements
- Experience managing payroll outsourcing relationships and vendor oversight, ideally for companies with 200+ employees across multiple jurisdictions
- Deep understanding of collective bargaining agreements and ability to ensure compliance across different employee groups and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with HR/payroll systems, with SuccessFactors experience highly desirable, plus strong data processing and analysis capabilities
- Fluent in English desirable, with strong stakeholder relationship management skills and ability to coordinate with social security agencies, tax offices, and internal teams as an individual contributor
