Junior Sales Trainee

About the Role

Develop a strategic, cross-functional vision of the urban hotel business through a comprehensive training program. The trainee will undergo exhaustive training in brand promotion and customer acquisition. Your main focus will be mastering the sales cycle across different business segments, such as corporate and MICE, while also managing tourism intermediaries (Tour Operators and Agencies).

Responsibilities

Business Travel & Corporate Accounts

- Prospecting: Assist in market prospecting and identifying new corporate accounts with high volume potential.
- Commercial Activity: Prepare sales visits and maintain the sales funnel.
- Proposals & Contracts: Support the creation of commercial proposals and the drafting of corporate rate contracts.
- Account Management: Follow up on active accounts to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with agreements.

MICE Segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events)

- Quote Management: Support the reception of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and the quoting of meeting rooms and banquets to maximize conversion.
- End-to-End Operations: Gain a comprehensive understanding of how this department operates, staying involved up to the final execution of the contracted service.
- Showcasing:



Actively participate in and organize site inspections for specialized agencies and event planners.

Tour Operators, Agencies & Marketing Support

- Intermediary Relations: Support the management of Tour Operators, wholesalers, and retail travel agencies, handling contracting and group requests.
- Brand Visibility: Assist in executing the local marketing plan and designing specific promotions for the corporate segment.
- Digital Synergy: Monitor digital campaigns and create content to boost the hotel's commercial visibility.

Requirements

- Education: Recent graduates in Tourism, Business Administration (BBA), Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience: No previous experience required; internships in the hospitality sector or commercial departments will be highly valued.
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (minimum C1 level).
- Availability: Full geographic mobility and flexibility to relocate to different cities or countries according to the rotation plan.
