Experteer Overview In this role you support clients in transforming their HR/payroll through Workday, focusing on UK Payroll implementations. You work with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and optimize payroll processes, ensuring compliance and smooth system integration. You’ll lead workstreams and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver large-scale, cloud-based HR solutions that enable clients to maximize their Workday investment. - Advise on industry standards and leading practices in UK Payroll to shape functional solutions
- Lead your workstream and report progress across streams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand payroll processes
- Analyse current payroll systems to identify improvement opportunities
- Configure and customize Workday payroll to meet business needs
- Develop and implement payroll policies, controls, and compliance
- Perform system testing, identify issues, and propose enhancements
- Provide end-user training and support during and after implementation
- Troubleshoot payroll issues, root-cause analysis and preventive actions
- Stay updated with Workday payroll features, releases, and best practices
- Coordinate integration with HR, finance, and time management modules
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements,
and migrations
- Travel as required to meet client needs
- Manage multiple tasks and client interactions in a fast-paced environmentResponsabilidades
- Proven experience as a Payroll Workday Consultant or similar role
- Deep knowledge of Workday payroll configuration, workflows, and business rules
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance
- Proficiency in Workday configuration tools, including pay policies, pay codes, earnings/deductions
- Experience in end-to-end Workday payroll implementations and support
- Ability to analyse complex payroll requirements and design solutions
- Knowledge of other Workday modules such as HR and benefits is a plus
- Familiarity with integrating Workday payroll with external systems (time and attendance) is advantageous
- Independent work style with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to meet client travel requirements and manage teams and client interactions
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
