Experteer Overview In this role you will lead GPQSS engineering delivery and drive global engineering governance. You will shape standards, processes, and digitalization initiatives while coordinating with local teams and customers to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will mentor engineering leaders, foster collaboration, and align engineering efforts with Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration strategy. This is a chance to influence cross-geography projects and scale engineering capabilities in a dynamic energy-technology context. - Own the project engineering scope and performance of GPQSS deliverables in collaboration with local counterparts and customers
- Business Process Owner for GPG GPQSS global engineering processes
- Mentor and develop engineering leaders and teams to foster innovation and excellence

- Lead continuous improvements across engineering processes and tools aligned to BU and GPG strategies

- Participate in budgeting with General Operations Manager and Controller
- Conduct Sales and Operations Planning and address capacity gaps
- Ensure proper staffing, HR policies adherence, competency assessments, and licensed/certified staff

- 15+ years of engineering experience in the energy sector
- 5+ years in a global leadership role
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience in a multinational corporation and global engineering environment
- Extensive knowledge of energy systems, grid infrastructure, and renewable technologies
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and global industry standards (IEC, IEEE, ISO, ANSI)
