Experteer Overview Senior Drainage Engineer at AECOM, based in Madrid, focusing on roadway and railway drainage design. - Perform detailed drainage design for roadways and railways
- Conduct hydrologic/hydraulic analyses including culvert sizing and floodplain assessment
- Lead the conceptual and final drainage designs (culverts, storm drains, detention facilities, channels)
- Self-check work products and participate in QA reviews
- Support project managers with technical input, scheduling, and QC




- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and draftersResponsabilidades
- 8+ years of experience in road or railway drainage designs
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in hydraulics and hydrology software (e.G., Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, StormCAD, HEC-RAS/HMS)
- Advanced CAD/BIM/Digital Engineering skills (Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer)
- Experience with international standards (e.G., AASTHO, AWWA, Australian Codes, British Standards)
