Experteer Overview As an experienced Embedded Software Engineer, you design and develop real-time embedded software for space and aeronautical platforms. You work within a multidisciplinary team to implement, verify, and document software that meets stringent standards while leveraging RTOS and modern architectures. Your work supports European space initiatives and end-to-end system integration. You will be on-call for interventions, contributing to mission-critical projects with general impact.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Design and develop real-time embedded software for space/aeronautical platforms in line with software standards
- Implement and maintain C and Python components for embedded environments
- Work with RTOS such as RTEMS, VxWorks, or FreeRTOS on ARM Cortex, RISC-V, or PowerPC
- Perform software verification and validation including test specification and execution using EGSE/SCOE benches
- Define and document software and system designs using UML and SysML
- Apply software configuration management with Git or SVN
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following waterfall, SCRUM, or agile methodologiesResponsabilidades
- Engineering degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in real-time embedded software for space or aeronautical domains
- Excellent C and Python programming skills
- Solid knowledge of multitasking and RTOS concepts
- Experience with embedded architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, PowerPC)
- Experience in software verification and validation
- Knowledge of UML and SysML
- Experience with containers (Docker or Podman) and CI tools (e.G., Jenkins)
