Experteer Overview As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Manager, you will lead cost control and planning for complex data centre projects. You will act as the client-facing interface to ensure value, accuracy and timely reporting from concept through final account. You will guide procurement, change control and post-contract variances, while mentoring the cost management team. The role offers exposure to high-profile commissions and strategic opportunities within a integral practice. - Provide estimate and cost planning across conceptual, programming and detailed levels
- Assist feasibility studies and draft procurement reports
- Manage procurement activities including pre-qualification, bid analysis and contract documents
- Oversee post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- Carry out cost checks, valuations and ensure timely, accurate cost reporting
- Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present findings to clients
- Contribute to value engineering and approve final accounts




- Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages
- Provide leadership to the cost management team when needed
- Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and share with line manager
- Suggest improvements for cost management procedures, templates and productsResponsabilidades
- Minimum 8 years' work experience in cost management (pre-contract, post-contract, final account)
- Experience in Data centre, Pharma, Oil and Gas preferred
- Good understanding of civils, structural and architectural aspects relevant to construction
- Experience leading cost management on medium to large, complex projects
- Experience advising on value management, value engineering and lifecycle costing
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written and communication skills
- Fluent in English
