Experteer Overview As an Electrical Cables Design Engineer, you own the design and development of cables and harnesses across the full product lifecycle. You will ensure robust, manufacturable designs that meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets while supporting turbine reliability and performance. You collaborate with general Power Systems colleagues and cross-functional teams to validate concepts, drive improvements, and standardize practices. This role leverages your engineering judgement to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions for wind turbines. You will help shape product performance and lifecycle ownership through proactive validation and continuous improvement.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Design, own, and execute electrical cables and harness development from concept to service life with full lifecycle ownership
- Act as the focal point for support to sourcing, manufacturing, projects, and services
- Lead site support activities (PAC, RCA, NC) to improve turbine reliability and performance
- Own RE-120 compliance for cables and harnesses across design and execution
- Apply SQDC principles to safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
- Integrate lessons learned and safety improvements into the design process
- Own component validation activities,



including test procedure development and validation execution
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions
- Support continuous improvement, standardization, design optimization, and product performance
- Self-manage daily operations to meet priorities with the technical leaderResponsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of electrical design experience
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, components, and BOMs
- Experience in wind, power generation, manufacturing, or related industrial environments
- Willingness to travel to wind farms and climb turbines
- Hands-on approach to solving field and product issues
