Experteer Overview As an Intermediate IT Infrastructure Engineer at Roche, you design, build, test, and implement resilient IT infrastructure solutions that support critical business needs. You work with cross-functional teams to evaluate new technologies, document designs, and ensure quality and regulatory alignment. You will lead small project efforts, mentor teammates, and communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders. - Solve a wide range of technical problems and contribute to challenging projects with end-to-end delivery of integrated, reliable solutions
- Evaluate new technologies through PoCs and determine feasibility for business needs
- Escalate and resolve incidents, maintain end-to-end design documentation and component standards
- Communicate complex information to cross-functional teams and stakeholders; represent the organization on projects
- Take a lead role on key deliverables, influence project direction, and mentor small teams or individuals
- Ensure designs comply with Quality/Regulatory standards and align with the organization’s architectural strategy and policies

- Proven experience solving difficult technical problems and contributing to challenging IT infrastructure projects
- Experience designing, building, testing, and implementing integrated, reliable IT infrastructure solutions
- Experience representing workgroups on project teams, managing milestones, and mentoring or leading small teams
- In-depth knowledge in a specific IT infrastructure area (Platform/Compute/Storage, Network Management, Data Center Management, ERP Tech Management, HPC, or Database Management)
- Strong understanding of best practices and IT operations in an always-on service environment; familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Ability to evaluate promising technologies via PoCs and assess feasibility for business needs
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; excellent communicationand presentation abilities
