Experteer Overview You will shape and scale Ebury’s main web application as a senior backend-focused engineer. You’ll own API services end-to-end, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive reliable, observable systems. The role blends platform evolution with enabling product teams to ship features efficiently. - Develop and evolve platform channels and services in collaboration with the team
- Design new services using RFC processes and own the lifecycle from development to maintenance
- Containerize services and implement monitoring and alerting for reliability
- Write testable code with unit and integration tests; contribute to CI/CD andIaC deployments
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration

- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Proficient in Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, REST APIs
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS
- Experience with IAM frameworks and tools like Keycloak
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, API design, and building scalable services
- Linux fundamentals and cloud infrastructure knowledge
- Git proficiency
