Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and coordinate rare disease communications across EUCAN, International regions, and cross-functional teams to strengthen Alexion/AstraZeneca’s profile and reputation. You will shape executive communications, drive internal engagement, and align regional priorities with Global Corporate Affairs. You will guide crisis and change communications, support policy and market-shaping efforts, and foster a connected, high-performing network of in-market communicators. - Partner with the SVP to craft strategic executive communications and amplify thought leadership for rare diseases.
- Lead internal communications to boost employee engagement and support business strategy delivery.
- Own EUCAN/International scorecard messaging and cascading priorities across the organization.
- Align SVP scorecard talent development with broader HR communications while ensuring strategic consistency.
- Manage regional town halls and contribute to Global town hall planning and content.
- Oversee Quarterly Results internal communications for regional staff.
- Support HR and change management communications, including announcements for SVP reports.
- Contribute to Senior Leadership Meeting communications and Alexion Excellence Awards from the regional perspective.
- Manage WorkVivo page for EUCAN u0026 International to reflect priorities and drive engagement.
- Provide regional communications partnership to advance Corporate Affairs priorities and major initiatives.
- Develop and lead communications plans for Corporate Affairs projects and summits across International regions.
- Convene the market communications network to share best practices and ensure global alignment.
- Advise on crisis communications and reputational issues for local markets.
- Contribute to general Corporate Affairs strategy and help translate it into local action.
- Support Rare Disease Day campaigns and other global campaigns at regional level.
- Report regional communications outcomes to CEO updates and other leadership forums.Responsabilidades
- 8+ years in communications with a strong track record
- Proven success in internal and external communications strategies
- Ability to tie communications to business outcomes; pharma/industry experience preferred
- Influence senior management and mentor leaders on communication effectiveness
- Experience leading change communication programs
- Crisis or issues management experience
- Media relations background
- Strong project and resource management skills
- Cultural sensitivity and virtual teamwork experience
- Fluent in English, strong written and verbal communication across media
