Experteer Overview As a Principal Fluid Systems Engineer, you will lead thermal-hydraulic and piping networks design for nuclear plant projects. You will collaborate with Iu0026amp; C, electrical, and operations teams to solve complex engineering challenges and ensure compliant, efficient plant modifications. You’ll present technical material to stakeholders and coordinate across disciplines and sites. - Perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks design
- Develop sizing requirements for pumps, valves, tanks, heat exchangers, HVAC and related equipment
- Identify technical issues and propose practical solutions
- Support engineering staff across multiple design and analysis activities
- Coordinate with Iu0026C, electrical, civil/structural, licensing, and layout teams
- Communicate progress and results to technical lead and project management
- Collaborate with construction, Iu0026C, electrical, and operations teams across projects
- Participate in customer, vendor, and regulatory meetings and present design decisions
- Complete work within defined scope, budget, and schedule constraintsResponsabilidades
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering
- Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering preferred
- Proficiency with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROW
- Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFP or API standards
- Fluent in Spanish and English (minimum B2)
- Ability to travel internationally to client and Westinghouse sitesRequisitos principales
