Experteer Overview In this Senior Software Engineer role, you’ll join Glovo’s Quick-Commerce Integral Services to help build scalable platforms for groceries and urgent daily needs across the Delivery Hero ecosystem. You’ll work from Barcelona with cross-functional teams to support onboarding and early-stage vendor integration, shaping systems that scale globally. You will tackle complex problems, implement robust designs, and drive technical initiatives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. - Onboard and support early-stage vendor onboarding within the Q-Commerce scope
- Troubleshoot complex issues and analyze solutions, providing timely fixes
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering leaders, and leadership across Q-Commerce
- Contribute to the next-generation platform for groceries and on-demand daily needs




- Design and build scalable distributed systems and microservices in production
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and coordinate across multiple teamsResponsabilidades
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Java and/or Kotlin experience (mandatory)
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, SNS/SQS, Google Pub/Sub)
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
- Proven track record leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
- Strong English communication skills
