Experteer Overview In this role you will help run and evolve the IoT Integral Connectivity platform by delivering reliable, scalable infrastructure and secure cloud and on‑prem assets. You’ll work within the IoT Platform Engineering team to enable cloud adoption, optimise costs, and support the Hyperconnect modernisation programme. You’ll partner with product, network, and security teams to align delivery across markets and ensure resilient operations. - Oversee lifecycle of infrastructure and database assets to ensure reliability, scalability and security
- Provide expert knowledge on cloud infrastructure and platforms to enable cloud adoption
- Design, build, deliver, maintain and improve infrastructure solutions including IaC, configuration-as-code, policy-as-code, release orchestration and CI/CD pipelines
- Own and optimise cloud and on‑premises infrastructure with proactive cost management
- Collaborate with IoT Platform Engineering, Product, Network and Security teams to ensure alignment and delivery
- Manage supplier and partner relationships to secure support for business goalsResponsabilidades
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; equivalent experience
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure and database management (on‑premises and cloud)
- Cloud and/or database technical certifications




- Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs, VPNs, peering, transit gateways) and egress cost optimization
- Experience implementing cloud security controls, encryption, key management
- Proven ability to design for resilience (multi-AZ/multi-region, backup/recovery)
- Incident response, root cause analysis, and operational improvement experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience working on geographically distributed teams and stakeholder management across markets
- Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution
- Proven use of CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab)
- Scripting skills in Python and shell
- Container platforms including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Hands‑on AWS experience with production cloud environments
- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, scalable architectures, APIs and microservices
- Familiarity with cloud provider frameworks (e.G., Well-Architected) and architecture artifacts
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation (Terraform, Packer)Requisitos principales
