Experteer Overview As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead design, analysis, and documentation efforts to meet project requirements and engineering standards. You will work within Westinghouse’s global engineering framework, collaborating with senior engineers and international teams to deliver high-quality deliverables. The role focuses on ensuring code compliance, performing sizing analyses, and validating drawings and calculations with precision. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to complex nuclear projects with impact on safety and performance. - Perform independent engineering tasks and assume technical ownership on assigned projects
- Review and verify work produced by others for accuracy and standard adherence
- Develop specifications, technical reports, calculations, and sizing analyses
- Create and validate deliverables such as drawings, design reviews, change control documents, and calculation notes

- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or higher
- Minimum 7 years of Structural Engineering experience in the nuclear sector
- Experience with structural design principles and producing high-quality technical documentation
- Knowledge of Structural Eurocodes and Spanish Structural Code; familiarity with AISC, ASME, ASCE, NRC guidelines
- Ability to work with standards/regulations in English
- Proficiency with GTStrudl, SAP2000, or RFEM
- Spanish and English fluency
- Knowledge of Project Management processes
- Experience in bolted and welded joint assessment (desired)
