Experteer Overview In this Backend Engineer role at N26, you’ll help shape the customer identity platform that powers onboarding across multiple European markets. You’ll work on modernising the architecture and strengthening the secure, compliant verification stack used for KYC, AML, and GDPR checks. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features that scale with growth, while mentoring peers and sharing knowledge. - Collaborate with the Tech Lead to architect and deliver new features
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a production environment
- Mentor junior team members by upholding code quality through PRs and guidance
- Stay current with tech trends and contribute findings during team sessions

- Experience with a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres
