Experteer Overview In this role you will support the development, qualification and execution of welding for structural railway components, applying MIG, TIG and FSW technologies. You will ensure compliance with EN 15085, ISO 3834 and other quality and safety standards, while advising on welding technologies for automotive and serial production. You will work across sites to optimize processes, investigate defects, and drive continuous improvement. This position offers exposure to advanced rail and automotive manufacturing and international collaboration.Compensaciones / Ventajas
- Support welding feasibility assessments during RFQs and project phases
- Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and qualifications
- Define and optimize welding parameters with production teams
- Ensure compliance with EN 15085, ISO 3834 and customer requirements
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot welding issues
- Lead root cause analyses for defects and support continuous improvement




- Define inspection and testing plans and support audits and certifications
- Guide production sites on welding technologies, industrialization, and best practicesResponsabilidades
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Certified Welding Engineer qualification (IWE/EWE)
- Hands-on welding experience (MIG, TIG, FSW)
- Knowledge of railway welding standards and quality requirements
- Understanding of aluminium materials (6xxx alloys) and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
