Experteer Overview In this role you will perform structural analyses for space systems, covering metallic and composite structures, using FEM to assess launch and in-orbit environments. You will develop and validate FE models, ensure ECSS compliance, and present findings to engineering teams. This position sits at the center of space structures work, enabling reliable designs for high-performance satellites. - Perform structural analysis for space systems (metallic and composite)
- Carry out FEM-based analyses (linear, nonlinear, dynamic) including modal, sine, random, and shock
- Analyze sandwich panels, bolted joints, and load introduction areas
- Assess structural behavior under launch and in-orbit environments
- Develop and validate finite element models using CAE tools
- Prepare technical reports and present results to engineers and program stakeholders
- Ensure ECSS standards compliance throughout the analysis processResponsabilidades
- Degree in Aerospace, Naval, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience in structural analysis for space applications
- Experience with metallic and composite structures
- Knowledge of sandwich panels, bolted joints, and load introduction
- Experience analyzing launch and in-orbit mechanical environments
- Strong expertise in FEM analysis (linear and nonlinear)
- Experience in dynamic analyses (modal, sine, random, shock)
- Hands-on experience with CAE tools (FEMAP, HyperMesh, MSC Nastran/Patran)
- Experience with ECSS standards
