You will guide a cross‑functional team, partner with IT leadership, and simplify governance to empower project managers with clear, actionable data. The role blends strategy, governance, and execution, with a focus on visibility, risk-aware decision making, and continuous improvement. - Manage ABB's global IT portfolio as a strategic asset with visibility, analysis, and recommendations aligned to business strategy
- Support IT Leadership in portfolio prioritization and decision-making with evidence-based options
- Simplify the governance framework and decision processes while maintaining transparency and control
- Conduct gate reviews and health checks, translating data into actionable leadership recommendations
- Lead and develop a general team of project and portfolio professionals and oversee tools and support
- Implement a structured learning and development program for project managers
- Own Planview as the portfolio management platform, configuring it for visibility and reduced manual reporting




- Enforce project governance standards and coach managers without adding complexity
- Act as a trusted advisor to IT Leadership, CIO, and global controllers, communicating portfolio status and risks
- Drive continuous improvement in portfolio data capture and presentation to enable agility and value deliveryResponsabilidades
- 15+ years of senior IT portfolio or program/project management experience with large, complex portfolios
- Proven expertise with portfolio tools (Planview, ServiceNow, Clarity, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models and gate-based governance
- Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management, SAFe, or equivalent frameworks
- ITIL practices and IT service management knowledge
- Track record of simplifying processes and improving portfolio performance with measurable outcomes
- Ability to drive organizational change and maintain governance standards
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Change leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Professional certifications preferred (PfMP, PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, ITIL 4)
