Experteer Overview As a Security Researcher at Cisco, you will advance vulnerability research, exploit development, and defensive tooling to enhance product security. You’ll create tools for analysis, automate testing, and produce credible reports that guide mitigations. You will collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into practical security improvements across Cisco products. - Conduct security research and develop tools for vulnerability analysis and mitigation
- Create static and run-time analysis tools to identify root causes of vulnerabilities
- Automate processes and environments to analyze results and test complex scenarios
- Perform vulnerability triage and develop PoC exploits to support detection content
- Write technical reports, methodologies, and testing procedures
- Research emerging technologies, protocols, and testing methodologies
- Develop PoC exploits to test mitigations and perform patch analysis
- Reverse engineer binary applications, protocols, and formats
- Provide security-focused expertise to engineering organizationsResponsabilidades
- Proven ability in vulnerability research or related exploit/mitigation development on Linux systems
