Experteer Overview In this role you lead a global automation and performance testing team to advance PPG's quality engineering. You will define the testing strategy, tooling, and processes to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software across the organization. You drive AI-powered and data-driven testing approaches to accelerate delivery and improve customer experience. You collaborate with business and IT partners to embed quality into the software lifecycle and shape enterprise-wide testing strategies. - Lead a global team of automation and performance testing engineers to deliver strategic initiatives
- Define scope and quality objectives for releases across functional and non-functional areas
- Establish an automation-first testing strategy and enhance test automation frameworks
- Improve test automation processes, frameworks, and methodologies
- Define and track quality metrics such as automation coverage and test effectiveness
- Ensure release readiness and adherence to quality standards across applications
- Develop testing strategies, plans, and quality roadmaps
- Identify and implement AI-enabled testing capabilities to boost productivity and coverage
- Coordinate with PMs, developers, stakeholders, and IT to resolve defects
- Provide clear testing status reports to senior leadership
- Oversee end-to-end performance testing and analyze performance improvements
- Lead recruitment, talent development, and recognition programs
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction

- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience leading software testing, automation, or quality engineering teams
- Success designing, implementing, and scaling automated testing frameworks
- Strong experience with test automation tools and methodologies
- Experience with performance testing concepts, strategies, and tools
- Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and modern delivery practices
- Experience leading integral or distributed teams
- Project management experience handling multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience leveraging AI/ML to enhance testing, including intelligent test creation and self-healing automation
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tricentis Tosca AI or similar
- Proven ability to evaluate and govern emerging AI technologies for testing efficiency and quality
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience considered
- Preferred qualifications: Agile environments, mature DevOps, performance testing tools like JMeter or Carrier IO, ISTQB or Tosca certifications
- Experience facilitating roadmaps and strategic workshops
- Familiarity with enterprise software development toolchains
