Experteer Overview As a Senior Software Engineer in Glovo’s Quick-Commerce Global Services in Barcelona, you’ll help build scalable solutions for the Delivery Hero ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a growing, global vendor network and next-generation platforms for groceries and urgent daily needs. Your work will focus on enabling onboarding, reliability, and rapid delivery at scale, fueling growth across the group. - Onboard and support vendors in early stages within the Q-Commerce platform
- Troubleshoot complex issues and analyse potential solutions, delivering timely fixes
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering leadership across the Q-Commerce organization

- Maintain high code quality with automated testing and best practices

- 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Java and/or Kotlin experience (mandatory)
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservice architectures
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, SNS/SQS, or Google Pub/Sub)
- Observability experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog
- Proven track record leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
