We’re looking for an AIT Shopfloor Engineer to support thermomechanical and electrical integration of satellites and functional testing in Airbus Defence and Space’s Getafe (Madrid) facility.
Core Responsibilities
-
- Responsible for thermomechanical and electrical integrations of satellites, including functional testing.
- Assist in the assembly of subassemblies and flight‑critical components.
- Update work orders in accordance with tasks performed.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, health & safety regulations, and relevant certification updates.
- Contribute to design, development and implementation activities in satellite integration campaigns.
- Work on multidisciplinary mechanical and electrical tasks.
Qualifications & Skills

- High School Technical Diploma (FP) in Electronic or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or integration activities.
- Solid electrical knowledge and alignment knowledge; experience in the space sector desirable.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new topics, businesses and networking environments.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel for medium stays (≈15 days).
