Experteer Overview In this role you strengthen Vodafone's corporate AI/ML research group to identify high-impact use cases, scout emerging AI technologies, and prototype cloud-based AI applications. You will collaborate across Vodafone teams and with external partners to drive innovation in areas like AI-native networks, automation, and pricing. You’ll lead rapid prototyping and engage senior stakeholders, shaping the telco AI strategy and industry collaboration. This is a hands-on, fast-paced research role with real business impact.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Outreach to Vodafone units to identify challenges and collaboration opportunities for applied AI research; specify use cases and secure stakeholder buy-in
- Assess and evaluate latest AI/ML tech including agentic AI for varied applications (5G/6G, autonomous networks, AI-driven pricing, Quantum ML)
- Prototype and implement proofs of concept using state-of-the-art AI/ML tools, design software architecture and end-to-end workflows
- Scout market for AI innovations and startups with potential Vodafone value




- Co-lead or contribute to external projects with NGMN and GSMA on AI and network automationResponsabilidades
- Proven hands-on experience in data science, ML, DL, genAI; advanced prompt engineering (PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face)
- Experience with LangChain / LangGraph and Google Agent Development Kit
- Experience with Google Vertex AI and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Cloud computing, Linux/DevOps experience (git)
- Proficiency in Python, Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter; end-to-end ML workflow design
- Strong math/statistics fundamentals; rapid prototyping and cloud-based software engineering
- Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication; stakeholder management
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science / ML / AI; additional AI/ML training welcomedRequisitos principales
