Experteer Overview In this role you will lead Preply's Fraud Operations to protect the platform’s financial integrity at a global scale. You’ll oversee investigations, dispute processes, and risk governance, partnering with Product, Payments, and Finance to drive a trusted marketplace. You’ll shape the ops strategy, build scalable processes, and translate frontline observations into actionable enhancements. - Lead and develop a team of Fraud Specialists with a high-judgement culture
- Own the Fraud Operations roadmap and align with business goals
- Design investigation standards, workflows, escalation protocols, and documentation
- Define and monitor Fraud Ops KPIs (chargeback rate, dispute SLAs, false positives, financial exposure)
- Establish governance cadence with Finance and senior leadership
- Translate frontline fraud observations into requirements for Product and Data to shape detection roadmap
- Collaborate with Product, Payments, and Finance to embed fraud risk in decisions
- Lead workforce planning and capacity management for operational resilience




- Present fraud performance and strategic recommendations to leadership
- Drive process improvements through RCA, policy adherence, and tooling evolutionResponsabilidades
- 6-8+ years in fraud operations, payments risk, or financial crime with people management experience
- Proven track record in fraud/risk operations within marketplace, fintech, or e-commerce
- Deep expertise in investigation methodology, chargeback management, and detection workflows
- Experience owning operational KPIs and translating data into priorities
- Strong people leadership and talent development
- Ability to translate operational observations into clear product/data requirements
- Strong data fluency and ability to surface actionable trends
- Experience designing scalable processes and governance
