Role Description The Senior Architect – Data Centre will lead the design and coordination of data centre projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with standards, and alignment with client objectives. This full-time, on-site role based in Madrid involves developing architectural concepts, producing detailed drawings and specifications, and overseeing integration with structural, MEP, and IT systems. The Senior Architect will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines and deliverables, and provide guidance to junior staff.



Responsibilities include conducting design reviews, liaising with clients and external partners, and supporting project documentation and approvals throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, especially in complex, mission-critical facilities such as data centres. Experience with Integration of architectural solutions with engineering disciplines and technology infrastructure. Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication. Familiarity with Software Development environments or workflows and their spatial/technical requirements is an advantage. Professional degree in architecture and relevant professional registration or eligibility for registration. Proficiency in industry-standard design and BIM tools (e.G., Revit, Auto CAD, or similar) and strong technical drawing skills. Knowledge of data centre design or critical facilites standards, building codes, sustainability principles, and best practices for resilience and security.
