Experteer Overview In this role you will join TheFork’s Core Data team to build a modern, self-service Data Platform (DPaaS) and end-to-end data pipelines that empower domain teams to create and consume trusted data products. You will apply software engineering best practices to data engineering, collaborating with Platform stakeholders to shift to a federated, domain-oriented data ecosystem. You will contribute to architecture evolution and data governance, enabling scalable, observable data flows. - Design and implement production-ready data pipelines with version control, CI/CD, testing and observability
- Build ingestion, validation, and export pipelines from multiple sources using modern data stack tools
- Refactor Airflow orchestration for scalability and maintainability
- Contribute to technical POCs evaluating new technologies and architectural approaches
- Collaborate with Architects, Staff Engineers, and Engineering Manager to evolve target data architecture
- Implement data contracts and quality controls to meet SLOs; apply medallion data modeling for trusted assets
- Support domain ownership models, single sources of truth per capability, data lineage and metadata management




- Contribute to developer experience to enable self-service data capabilities; work with DataOps on CI/CD and IaC
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams and onboard new data use cases onto the platform
- Build cross-team relationships to drive adoption and continuous platform improvementResponsabilidades
- Strong Python skills for data pipelines
- Advanced SQL and performance basics
- Experience building production-grade data pipelines
- Data modeling knowledge (medallion architecture)
- Hands-on with Snowflake or other cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)
- Understanding of ELT patterns and optimizations; partitioning and clustering basics
- Experience using Airflow; exposure to Airbyte a plus; API-based ingestion andschema evolution handling
- Cloud services experience (AWS S3, IAM); Terraform is a plus; CI/CD and Git collaboration
- Data quality, validation, and monitoring concepts; data governance basics (PII, access control)Requisitos principales
