Experteer Overview As a Biodiversity Specialist, you will support nature-positive project outcomes through field surveys, data analysis, and environmental deliverables. You will work within our ecology team to deliver high-impact studies for Spain and internationally, bridging technical work with client-facing advisory. You’ll contribute to innovative methods like eDNA and Nature-based Solutions while supporting biodiversity risk assessment and mitigation planning. This role offers cross-functional collaboration and opportunities to shape biodiversity strategies on major infrastructure projects.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Plan and execute field surveys in Spain and abroad to identify and quantify biodiversity assets
- Support biodiversity deliverables: writing, literature reviews, data analysis, and BD inputs
- Draft biodiversity sections for EIAs and environmental integration appendices
- Advise clients on biodiversity risks, opportunities, and disclosure; present results to diverse audiences




- Contribute to innovative services and tools (eDNA, Nature-based Solutions, biodiversity crediting)
- Prepare applied biodiversity management reports and conduct ecosystem services valuation
- Design mitigation hierarchy measures to achieve net positive biodiversity impactResponsabilidades
- 3+ years of biodiversity/ecology experience; consulting experience desirable
- Strong knowledge of Iberian biodiversity (habitats, fauna)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Willingness to travel; field and internationalwork possible
- Commitment to quality, ethics, teamwork, and continuous learning
- Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Primary focus in Spain with potential for international collaboration
