Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to the development of high-end Earth Observation satellite systems within the EOS Chief Engineering Department. You will lead Vu0026amp; V planning, manage interfaces, and support the Chief Engineer on technical oversight to ensure mission success. The position sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering and strategic system management, offering impact across space missions from requirements to integration. You will work with cross-functional teams to tackle complex space-system challenges and help drive digitalisation and novel methods across design, development and manufacturing. - Lead Verification u0026 Validation planning and execution according to ECSS
- Perform mission analysis, CONOPS development, and derive Vu0026V strategies
- Define verification methods (Analysis, Inspection, Demonstration, Test) for lifecycle
- Oversee Verification Control Document (VCD) creation and management
- Coordinate system-level tests including environmental and end-to-end tests
- Manage satellite interfaces and ICDs between spacecraft, payload, and ground segments
- Conduct interface impact analysis during design changes
- Support Chief Engineer in technical oversight,
risk management, and decision-making
- Participate in Technical Reviews (PDR, CDR, QR, AR) and prepare technical documentation
- Contribute to project technical management (resources, cost, schedule, progress)
- Promote deployment of novel engineering methods (MBSE, multi-disciplinary analyses) and digitalisation of design, development and manufacturing processes
- Develop features and upgrade product lines to meet new capabilitiesResponsabilidades
- 5+ years in Systems Engineering within Space, focused on satellite platforms or complex missions
- Strong background in Earth Observation or Science mission architectures
- Deep understanding of Space Mission Lifecycle and ECSS standards
- Knowledge of SAR and Optical payloads (a plus)
- Experience with Requirements Engineering (DOORS or similar)
- Proficiency in Interface Management and System Modeling
- Solid knowledge of subsystems (AOCS, EPS, OBDH, Telecommunication, Thermal)
- Ability to interpret complex test data and technical reports
