One of the companies we partner with at Joppy is looking to hire aSenior Data Engineerto architect, build, and own a mission-critical data infrastructure from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity for someone deeply AI-native who understands that exceptional data foundations unlock the next phase of AI-driven growth.Design end-to-end data architecture, from raw data ingestion to clean, analytics-ready modelsBuild robust data pipelines to ingest information from multiple systems, including product, CRM, finance, marketing, and AI event tracesModel core data entities to provide a consistent source of truth for all teamsEstablish and maintain data quality, monitoring, testing, and alerting for trust in data outputsDevelop the foundational data layer needed for scalable, reliable AI initiativesInstrument product usage analytics, including events, funnels, and retention metricsCreate dashboards and data sets that drive decision-making across Sales, CX, Finance, and Marketing5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment (exceptional candidates with less experience and proven end-to-end project ownership will be considered)Experience building a data warehouse or data platform from scratch,
