No Offer Description Mission: Provide scientific and technical support to research activities related to the project.

Functions to be developed: * Generate databases and data analysis related to the impact and coastal adaptation to climate change. * Assess the danger (erosion and flooding) induced by the rise in sea levels on the Catalan coast. * Estimate the type of soil affected in the coastal area by sea level rise. * Integrate hazard results with environmental and socioeconomic values to assess the expected impact. * Estimate the accommodation space necessary for adaptation and collaboration in the design of adaptation strategies. * Adapt vulnerability and risk indicators and apply them to the Catalan coast. * Collaborate in the creation and operation of a Living Lab on the Llobregat Delta. * Participate in regular meetings related to research (including trips abroad) and participate in dissemination tasks (preparation of scientific articles, conferences, workshops). * Use of numerical models of coastal erosion and flooding (PCR, LISFLOOD-FP, etc.). * Creation of risk indicators. * Data analysis with interpretation of results. * Preparation of scientific manuscripts for journals and conferences. * ArcGIS. * Mat

Specific Requirements Knowledge: * Coastal oceanography and climate change (coastal processes, coastal management, impact of climate change). * Assessment of the impact of sea level rise (erosion and flooding). * Coastal adaptation measures to climate change. * Risk indicators.

Professional Experience: * Have participated in any scientific publication and/or presentation at conferences on topics related to the project. * Experience in functions similar to those described will be valued, specifically in the development of research activities, both in the university and industrial environment.

Geosciences Years of Research Experience 1 - 4 Additional Information Eligibility criteria All the candidates who cannot prove the required academic degree will be immediately withdrawn from the selection process.

The CVs will be assessed according the following general criteria: * The maximum score for the candidates who accomplish all the eligibility criteria stated in the job offer will be 10 points. * Threshold: 5 points. * The maximum score (10 points) will be distributed as follows: * 1 point for required speciality. * 2 points for required academic training. * 2 points for technic competences. * 1 point for organisational competences. * 3 points for professional experience.
