01/11/2026 31/12/2026 2 months Establish a dashboard of internal performance indicators for the Research Centres Network Office as a tool to improve its operational performance. 01/11/2026 31/12/2026 2 months The UDC Research Centres Coordination Office is the operational unit responsible for coordinating the activities of the University of A Coruña's leading research structures in the field of research, development and innovation (R&D;&I;).
It reports both administratively and functionally to the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer and operates under the direction of the Office's Strategic Director.
Among its responsibilities, the Office's Technical Management Unit analyses the local, regional, national and international context to identify strategic opportunities and areas for action for UDC's research centres and R&D;&I; units.
Its objectives include enhancing the attraction of funding from diverse sources, designing and implementing an ecosystem that promotes research and knowledge transfer activities, strengthening collaboration with industry, and positioning research centres as key drivers of a proactive culture capable of exploring new public and private funding opportunities and fostering new models of knowledge transfer with a wide range of stakeholders.
The purpose of this call is to recruit a Research Manager to support the activities carried out by the UDC Research Centres Coordination Office related to the analysis and monitoring of the research performance of the University's research centres and R&D;&I; units through the development and continuous improvement of R&D;&I; performance indicator dashboards.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening strategic planning, optimising internal processes, and enhancing the University of A Coruña's competitiveness in attracting research funding and advancing its research and knowledge transfer activities.
The funding for this employment contract may be provided, in whole or in part,
by any other project or grant assigned to the Research Line, including before the end of the initial funding period, provided that adequate and sufficient funding is available.
Pursuant to Article 5 of Instruction 2/2025, of 17 March 2025, issued by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer, which regulates the registration of Research and Strategic Research Lines and the recruitment of research staff funded through such lines, the validity of this permanent employment contract is conditional upon the continued need for the duties associated with the position and the availability of adequate and sufficient funding within the Research Line.
The exhaustion of the funding allocated to the Research Line, or the completion of the technical activities that justify the position, where redeployment to another suitable position is not possible, shall constitute an objective ground for termination of the employment contract, in accordance with Article 52.y of the Spanish Workers' Statute (Estatuto de los Trabajadores).
The eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date for the submission of applications.
By the application deadline and throughout the duration of the employment contract, applicants must meet and continue to satisfy the requirements set out in Article 8 of the Regulations Governing the Recruitment of Research Staff under Chapter 6 (Research Projects, Grants and Knowledge Transfer Agreements).
To be considered in the evaluation process, all merits must be supported by the corresponding documentary evidence.
Merits that are merely declared but not duly documented will not be assessed by the Selection Committee.
The position may remain unfilled if no applicant obtains a score higher than 60 points, excluding the interview score. A reserve list will be established comprising applicants who achieve a minimum score of 60 points (excluding the interview score) but are not selected by the Selection Committee.
This reserve list may be used if the selected candidate declines the offer or if their employment contract is terminated.
It may also be used for future recruitment processes with the same purpose.
