ppAfC Band 2 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,818.72 per annum (pro rata) /p p7.2 hours per week: Monday Tuesday /p pContract Duration – Permanent /p pPost Details – The State Hospital provides high secure psychiatric care for patients from Scotland and Northern Ireland. Our strategy is to ensure equitable provision of high quality, clinically effective services to meet the mental health and social care needs of all patients. /p pAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the Facilities Department for an Admin Assistant / Telephonist. The post-holder will operate the main hospital switchboard system following the hospital’s operational policy which includes dealing with enquiries for the hospital. They will also provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Facilities Department. The post holder will be required to provide cover for the Estates Administrator which includes operating helpdesk and maintenance management system, dealing with all requests for work / enquiries for department etc. The post holder will be required to provide cover for other Telephony / Admin staff within the department. /p pA versátil approach to work is necessary as variations to the standard working week may be required in order to meet the needs of the service /p pExperience – You should have excellent secretarial and communication skills as well as enthusiasm and a strong sense of commitment. You will have experience in dealing with confidential information in a mature and sensitive manner.
