No /p h3Offer Description /h3 pThe bPlant Synthetic Biology and Biofactories Lab /b led by Dr. Eduardo González Grandío at the bCentro Nacional de Biotecnología /b (CNB-CSIC, Madrid, Spain) is looking for a laboratory technician / research assistant to support experimental work in plant biotechnology and synthetic biology. The position will be hired as personal laboral of the Agencia Estatal CSIC, under the IV Convenio Único de la Administración General del Estado (AGE), in the professional groups E2 or M1 depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. /p pThe successful candidate will support ongoing research on engineering plant biofactories in Nicotiana tabacum and related systems. Work will center on molecular cloning, plant transformation and in vitro culture, phenotyping of transgenic lines, and preparation of samples for molecular and metabolomic analyses, within a collaborative lab focused on plant synthetic biology and metabolic engineering. In addition, the person hired will take care of routine laboratory tasks, including preparation of media and buffers, basic sterilization and autoclaving, inventory and stock management, and day-to-day organization of the lab.
