No /p h3Offer Description /h3 h3Introduction to the vacant position /h3 pThe Nanoprobes and Nanoswitches Group is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join an international and dynamic lab under the supervision of Silvia Pittolo. The contract will be within the framework of a Neuroscience research project using fiber photometry in freely-moving mice aimed at studying how antidepressant treatment alters brain neuromodulatory signals. /p h3Main Tasks and Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform includes animal surgery for AAV delivery /li liConduct fiber photometry recordings and behavior in freely-moving mice /li liSimultaneous recordings of brain signaling molecules via fluorescent biosensors /li liHistological analysis of brain tissue /li liData analysis and interpretation /li liCommunication of results /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities /h3 ul liDegree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field /li liPassion for Neuroscience research with a focus on psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders /li liCommitted to purse a PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedicine, or related by applying to private and public doctoral fellowships /li liIndependent, critical thinking and problem-solving attitude /li liExcellent communication and teamwork /li liResearch integrity /li liAccreditation to perform experiments in laboratory mice (FELASA or similar) /li liExperience with mouse surgeries, manipulation /li liExperience in brain histology (intracardial perfusion, IHC and smFISH) /li liCoding experience (Matlab/python) /li /ul h3We Offer /h3 ul liNumber of available positions: 1 /li liWorking conditions: /li liFull time (37.5 hours/week), 1-year initial contract /li liOpen-ended contract for scientific and technical activities,
