No /ph3Offer Description /h3pIMDEA Energy is opening a Senior Researcher Position in the Electrical Systems Unit, looking for talented and motivated candidates to work on Power System Operation, Control and Optimization. /ppbTasks Description: /b /pulliLead one or several research lines (including projects) in power systems, smart grids, renewable integration, flexibility, and energy markets. /liliHelp manage the research unit including its infrastructure /liliLeading project proposals preparation and management of national and international research projects. /liliCollaborate with industry and international partners. /liliSupervise personnel including PhD students, postdoctoral and senior assistant researchers. /liliDisseminate research results through scientific publications, technical reports, participation in conferences, workshops, technology forums, and technology transfer activities to industry. /liliPh.D. degree in Electrical,



Electronic or Control Systems Engineering. /liliSolid background in Power Engineering, Control Systems and Electrical Machines /lili10 years of postdoctoral experience and at least two of them in a foreign institution /liliPrincipal investigator in at least 2 national/ international projects. /liliProven track record in publishing research results. /li /ulh3Specific Requirements /h3ulliGood understanding of Renewable and Energy Storage Technologies and Planning and Operation of Power Systems. /liliGood knowledge of DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Matlab, SimPowerSystems and other energy systems modelling tools. /liliR3 / I3 Certificate. /liliOutstanding track of indexed scientific publications, mostly those related to the research topic. /liliProven participation in European research and innovation projects, mostly those related to the research topic. /liliInternational research experience: research stays and collaborations, mostly those related with the research topic. /liliExperience in the preparation of proposals with public and private funding, mostly those related with the research topic. /liliExperience in supervision of Internships, Master Thesis and PhD Thesis, mostly those related with the research topic. /liliFluent oral and written communication skills in English /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
