As an AWS Data Architect at Open Digital Services, you shape the Datalake architecture and the cloud-native data ecosystem for enterprise analytics and AI. You’ll set standards, patterns, and security across data platforms, collaborating with Data Engineering, ML, Security and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable data foundations. You’ll drive data governance, observability and production reliability in a regulated banking environment.

This role offers impact at scale by enabling analytics and AI use cases.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Design and evolve the ODS Datalake architecture for scalability, security and maintainability
- Define architectural standards and best practices for the data ecosystem
- Lead design of AWS-based data solutions using S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, Redshift, Lake Formation, Kinesis, IAM
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to align pipelines with architectural principles and production standards
- Support data quality, lineage, metadata, observability and access control across the Datalake
- Partner with ML/Analytics teams to ensure reliable data foundations for advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases
- Review technical designs and guide engineering teams on architecture
- Identify risks,



debt, performance bottlenecks and propose pragmatic solutions
- Promote engineering excellence, automation, documentation and operational discipline
- Act as a technical reference for AWS data architecture and cloud-native data platforms

Responsabilidades

- 7+ years in Data Architecture/Big Data/Cloud Architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services (EMR, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, EC2)
- Experience defining architectural standards and patterns for data platforms
- Experience working with multiple engineering, architecture, security and business stakeholders
- Experience in banking, fintech or regulated environments (preferred) xugodme
- Professional English; Fluent Spanish (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, Redshift, Lake Formation, Kinesis, IAM)
- Understanding of modern data lake/lakehouse architectures
- Understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, observability and access control
- Security, privacy, compliance and operational reliability in cloud data environments
- Infrastructure as Code or cloud automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform) (preferred)
- DevOps/DataOps, CI/CD, monitoring and production support (preferred)
- ML platforms / MLOps familiarity (preferred)
