Company Description Galia Pastelería is a French-inspired artisan pâtisserie located in the heart of Madrid, created to bring a little piece of France to the city through high-quality pastry and warm, thoughtful service. The team focuses on craftsmanship and attention to detail, both in the products offered and in the way guests are welcomed and served.

Role Description This is a Part-time, on-site Barista role based in Madrid at Galia Pastelería. The Barista prepares and serves specialty coffee and other beverages to complement Galia’s pastries, following established recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating espresso machines and brewing equipment, maintaining a clean and organized bar and service area, handling cash and card payments, and providing table service as needed.

The Barista welcomes guests, answers questions about products, provides recommendations, and ensures a friendly, efficient service experience. The role also involves restocking supplies, following health and safety protocols,



and collaborating with the pâtisserie and catering teams during busy periods and special events.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming, professional guest experience.

Candidates should possess Barista skills, including latte art, espresso machine operation, beverage preparation, and overall coffee knowledge.

Candidates should possess food preparation skills relevant to pastry and café service, including basic plating and serving.

Previous experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality environment is preferred.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work versátil hours, including weekends and holidays.

Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Spanish is required;

French and/or English, are preferred.
