Ethos:

Les Shapeshifters exist because most industries don't talk to each other - and we think that's costing all of us the best ideas we haven't even had yet. We build the room where a physicist can sit next to a theologian, an artist next to an economist, and something neither of them expected gets made.

Right now that room is a podcast, a newsletter, and two people building it in the hours before and after their day jobs. We're looking for two people who want to build the next part of it with us - not because there's a salary attached yet, but because the vision is worth the bet.

You might be the outlier. So are we.

Builder in Residence In one line: You'll be the person who takes what's already in blueprint format and makes it real, and beautiful - the first person to see the platform actually work.

What you'll do:

- Translate an already-mapped vision into a working demo deck - turn "here's what we envision" into something people can click through and understand.
- Shape the creative and design layout alongside Laila and Carla - the idea and vision is set, but how it looks and feels is genuinely a creative collaboration.
- Build and show a working V1 — the first real, usable version of something that's existed only as an idea until you show up.

This isn't a blank page, and it isn't executing someone else's spec from behind a screen either. You get a clear vision to build from, real creative say in how it comes alive, and a shipped V1 with your name on it that you can point to.

Someone who gets more energy from making something real, working with two passionate beings to create something genuinely transformative for people.

The Practical Terms

- Start date: September 1, 2026

- Time commitment: 4 hours/week

- Location: Remote-friendly. If you're based in Barcelona, we co-work together in person every Friday.

- Compensation, honestly: No one is being paid right now, including us. This is pure conviction that the idea is worth building. If and when Les Shapeshifters generates turnover, we negotiate together, as a team, not by a formula decided before anyone's done the work.

- 90-day check-in: We'll check in properly at the 90-day mark: for you to tell us if this is working, and for us to tell you the same.
