Your Mission Your mission is to keep our banking features safe and secure. You will combine business, legal, regulatory and customer‐support expertise. As a compliance officer in Spain, you will serve as the AMLRO and ensure operations remain in line with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

- Managing Regulatory Changes: stay ahead of and implement regulatory changes in Spain.
- Regulatory Submissions: own submitting regulatory documents under the supervision of the Head of Compliance.
- Escalation Point: act as the escalation point for investigations conducted by FinCrime analysts.
- Business Use Cases: explore regulatory aspects of various business use cases.
- New Products and Services: assess regulatory aspects of new products and services.
- Compliance Documentation: maintain internal documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Regulatory Watch: conduct regulatory watch on Spanish banking supervision matters to keep the organization informed and compliant.
- Regulatory Bodies: serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish regulatory bodies (Banco de España / SEPBLAC / CNMV).

Preferred Experience
- Significant experience (+5 years) in a compliance position in a financial institution,



ideally in a Fintech or other fast‐paced work environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Spanish banking regulations and the payment ecosystem.
- Problem‐solver mindset: creative and resourceful thinker, maintaining a positive can‐do attitude towards challenges.
- High autonomy and ability to take initiatives.
- Synthesis and analytical mindset with strong writing skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in an evolving and fast‐paced environment.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.

Salary This position is classified as Level4 in our compliance grid. The salary range is €68000–€83000. We conduct structured salary reviews each February, considering performance, professional growth, and market positioning.
