In this role you lead Threat Detection u0026amp; Response Operations for EY GDS Spain, guiding SOC delivery and incident investigation to meet client SLAs. You’ll supervise security tools, monitor threats, and provide technical leadership to the SOC team. You will translate complex security concepts for executives and stakeholders while driving improvements in monitoring and automation.
This position offers the chance to shape security operations in a global services environment and work hybrid across client and internal teams.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Oversee detection, reporting, and response to security incidents to ensure effective SOC management
- Manage SOC tools and technologies, ensuring proper configuration and maintenance for threat detection
- Lead the SOC focused on client network security event monitoring
- Define, track, and meet Service Level Agreements for clients
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members on SOC activities
- Review and enforce standard operating policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities to enhance security monitoring and operational tasks
- Communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences including executives
- Oversee daily SOC tasks that can be automated
- Balance strategic client view with limited resources to deliver value
Responsabilidades
- 8-10 years hands-on experience with operating/implementing/designing SIEM solutions
- Proven project management experience
- Strong verbal and written English
- B. Tech. xugodme / B.E. with solid technical skills
- Ability to work in client time zones
- Demonstrated technical acumen and critical thinking
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Certification in any SIEM platform
- Knowledge of RegEx, Perl scripting and SQL query language is a plus
