As a Development Associate in Madrid, you will support investment analysis and development management for living projects in Italy. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to evaluate acquisitions, feasibility, budgeting, and planning, helping drive value across Greystar’s Italian pipeline. The role combines financial modelling, market research, and regulatory planning to inform senior leadership decisions.

You will gain broad exposure to development lifecycle, cost control, and reporting, contributing to Greystar’s growth in Europe. This is a hands‑on position for a proactive professional who wants to shape multi-market development strategies.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation, and feasibility analyses for acquisitions and development opportunities
- Develop and interpret complex financial models including multi‑tier waterfall structures
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and cash flow monitoring across development lifecycles
- Prepare financial and technical data for investment memorandums, including pro‑forma budgets and feasibility studies
- Support negotiation of sale and purchase agreements with financial and technical analysis
- Support planning and approvals processes,



including analysis of planning permissions and compliance with Italian regulations
- Assist in preparing and monitoring project plans, schedules, and cost documentation
- Monitor budget and schedule performance and contribute to progress reporting
- Manage third‑party relationships with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Assist in obtaining permits and ensuring technical quality standards

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or STEM
- Demonstrable interest in real estate investment and development
- Expert proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Working knowledge of Italian xugodme building regulations, planning processes, and construction procurement
- Knowledge of multifamily/build to rent or related residential asset classes (desirable)
- Experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
- Strong financial modelling and asset valuation skills
- Understanding of Italian planning and regulatory compliance
- Experience in development cost control, budgeting, and cash flow monitoring
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
- Proactive, collaborative, and commercially minded
