In this role you will design and develop real-time embedded software for space or aeronautical applications, aligning with strict software standards. You will work within a cross-functional engineering team to deliver robust, verified software across the full lifecycle. The position involves on-call duties and planned interventions, contributing to high-criticality missions. You join Indra Space to help scale Europe’s space autonomy through cutting-edge, mission-critical systems.

Compensaciones / Beneficios

- Design and develop real-time embedded software for space/aeronautical use, compliant with software development standards
- Implement high-quality software in C and Python following industry best practices
- Work with RTOS (RTEMS, VxWorks, FreeRTOS) on architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, PowerPC)
- Perform software verification and validation including test specification and execution with EGSE/SCOE benches
- Produce and maintain design documentation using UML and SysML




- Apply configuration management with GIT and SVN
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the software lifecycle
- Participate in on-call duties and planned interventions

Responsabilidades

- 3-5 years of experience in embedded real-time software for space or aeronautical industry
- Excellent C and Python programming skills
- Strong knowledge of RTOS and multitasking systems
- Experience with embedded architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, PowerPC)
- Experience in software verification and validation
- Familiarity xugodme with GIT and SVN
- Experience with UML and SysML
- Knowledge of MISRA-C standards
- Experience with Docker and/or Podman
- Medium-level Python experience in ITOM/technical environments
- Availability for on-call rotations
- English level B2 (desirable)
