We are looking for a Solutions Architect – Digital Platforms to lead the design and implementation of modern datacenter solutions, guiding the transformation from traditional IT architectures towards a Zero Trust–based digital platform model. This role requires a strong security mindset and close collaboration with colleagues across Spain, Germany, India, and Canada, working at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and platform architecture.
Responsibilities Design and evolve datacenter architectures based on Zero Trust principles, including identity-centric access, least privilege enforcement, east‐west controls, and micro‐segmentation. Architect and implement scalable, resilient datacenter solutions across on‐premises and hybrid environments. Define intermediate architecture steps to transition from traditional IT infrastructure to modern Zero Trust–oriented platforms.
Drive automation of provisioning, configuration, and security controls using infrastructure-as-code and orchestration frameworks. Evaluate, integrate, and operationalize open‐source technologies to improve flexibility, interoperability, and cost efficiency. Collaborate across Corporate Security, Connectivity, Cloud, and Application teams to define architectural standards, reference architectures, implementation patterns, and best practices.
Ensure solutions comply with corporate security requirements and regulatory compliance frameworks. Act as an architectural authority, guiding design decisions and trade‐offs across complex, mixed workloads. Support transformation initiatives by promoting automation, platform thinking, and Zero Trust adoption.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure or solution architecture roles. Strong expertise in Zero Trust datacenter architecture, including identity-based access, least privilege enforcement, east‐west traffic controls, micro‐segmentation across mixed workloads. Proven experience designing resilient on‐premises and hybrid datacenters.
Solid knowledge of networking and routing, load balancing, high‐availability and fault‐tolerant design. Hands‐on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms, including cluster architecture, networking and ingress/egress, and securing containerized workloads. Strong automation and Infrastructure-as-Code skills, using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, Helm.
Experience evaluating and integrating open‐source technologies in enterprise environments. Clear and structured architectural communication skills, able to explain complex designs to diverse stakeholders.
Strong collaboration and cross‐functional leadership skills. Analytical problem‐solving mindset, translating high‐level requirements into secure, efficient architectures.
Experience driving architectural change and transformation. Strong ownership and accountability for delivering secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
