The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG shares principles of an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team that is supported by high-end and innovative technologies and a versátil and efficient administration.

Within the Technology and Business Development Office (TBDO), the Innovation & Business Manager will support and guide the scientific community, with a particular focus on early-career researchers, to transform technologies and research advances into solutions with societal impact.

The role combines technology transfer, business development and new venture creation responsibilities with a broader mandate to foster an innovation-oriented culture across the organization. The successful candidate will support the identification and maturation of emerging opportunities,



promote entrepreneurial thinking among researchers and strengthen CRG’s relationships with internal and external innovation stakeholders.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive innovation professional with strong business development capabilities and a solid understanding of life sciences research, technology commercialization and venture development. The position will contribute to the exploitation of CRG’s intellectual property portfolio while supporting a broad pipeline of early-stage ideas, translational projects and innovation opportunities.

The Innovation & Business Manager will work closely with scientists, innovators, business developers, entrepreneurs, investors, industry representatives, key opinion leaders, intellectual property professionals and legal advisers.
